The Haryana CET Group C & D examination comprises two main sections: General Subjects and Haryana General Knowledge. The detailed exam pattern is as follows:

Detailed Syllabus for Haryana CET Group C
General Awareness
Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidates General Awareness of the environment and its relevance to society. The questions will also test knowledge of current events and such matters of everyday observation as may be expected of an examinee. Topics include: History, Indian Polity & Constitution, Art & Culture, Geography, Economics, General Policy, National/International Organizations /Institutions, Environment, Globalization, Climate, Events, and General Science.
Computer Knowledge
Computer Basics: Organization of a computer, CPU, input/output devices, memory, back-up devices, PORTs, Windows Explorer, Keyboard shortcuts, Windows OS, MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Internet usage, Web browsing/searching, Email handling, Downloading/Uploading, Cyber Security.
Reasoning
Includes verbal and non-verbal reasoning: Semantic Analogy, Symbolic operations, Number Analogy, Space Orientation, Semantic/Venn Classification, Observation, Venn Diagrams, Drawing inferences, Punched hole patterns, Number/Figural Series, Embedded figures, Critical thinking, Problem solving, Emotional intelligence, Coding-Decoding, Social intelligence.
Quantitative Ability
Number System, Simplification, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Partnership, Mixture & Allegation, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs, Trigonometry, Algebra, Geometry.
English Language
Spot the Error, Fill in the Blanks, Synonyms, Antonyms, Spellings, Idioms & Phrases, One-word substitution, Sentence Improvement, Active/Passive Voice, Direct/Indirect narration, Sentence Rearrangement, Tenses, Cloze Passage, Reading Comprehension.
Hindi Language

Note: The Haryana CET exam questions will be of 10+2 level, except Hindi and English which will be of Matric level.
